As of Thursday Sep 6, stocks across eight consumption areas lost 33,000 mt from last Thursday to stand at 1.714 million mt

SHANGHAI, Sep 6 (SMM) – Primary aluminium inventories across major consumption areas in China shrank on the week as downstream consumers restocked when prices dipped over the week.

As of Thursday September 6, stocks across eight consumption areas, including SHFE warrants, fell by some 33,000 mt from last Thursday to stand at 1.714 million mt, SMM data showed.

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 718,000 mt

Shanghai – 381,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 232,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 163,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 105,000 mt

Tianjin – 61,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 27,000 mt

Chongqing – 27,000 mt

포드는 7월 미국에서 16만 9,951대를 판매해 전년 동기 대비 10% 이상 감소했으며, 이는 알루미늄 공급 차질에 따른 F-시리즈 픽업 공급 부족, Escape 크로스오버 단종, 저마진 렌트 플릿 판매의 계획적 축소에 기인합니다. 공급 부족은 작년 가을 공급업체 Novelis Inc.의 열간압연기에서 발생한 화재로 생산이 중단된 데서 비롯되었으며, 6월에 가동이 재개됐지만 7월 말 기준 F-시리즈 재고는 약 45일분으로 여전히 부족했고 F-시리즈 판매 자체도 6.5% 감소했습니다. 포드는 트럭과 SUV의 기초 소매 수요가 견조하게 유지됐다고 밝혔지만, 소매 배정을 우선시하기 위해 렌트 플릿 출고를 96% 줄였습니다.
