China Secondary Zinc Output to Rise 3% in 2016, SMM Reports

SHANGHAI, Dec. 7 (SMM) - China’s secondary zinc production is expected to rise 3% year-on-year in 2016, SMM reported at the 2016 China Cast Industry Summit.

China’s secondary zinc output will increase % year-on-year to 1.45 million tonnes this year, including recycling of hot-galvanized slag and zinc-contained dust and scrap zinc alloy, said Li Shilong, Vice-Chairman of the (China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Recycling Metal Branch (CMRA) at the Summit.

Products include zinc ingot, zinc oxide, zinc sulfate, zinc carbonate and zinc acetate.
