SHFE Zinc Trades down (Mar. 30, 2016)

SHANGHAI, Mar. 30 (SMM) – SHFE 1605 zinc started at RMB 14,200/mt overnight and once sank to RMB 14,085/mt. Later the contract bounced back to RMB 14,240/mt and ended at RMB 14,195/mt. Trading volumes exceeded 80,000 lots and positions fell over 3,000 to below 110,000. 

SHFE zinc fluctuated around RMB 14,180/mt for day trading Wednesday and slipped to RMB 14,130/mt. The contract dipped to RMB 14,060/mt with shorts gathering strength and closed at RMB 14,120/mt. Positions dropped 9,942 to 103,018 for SHFE 1605 zinc while grew 3,202 to 130,210 for SHFE 1606 zinc.

SHFE 1605 zinc should see weak trading this evening.
