MMi Daily Iron Ore Report (April 13)

Today DCE Iron ore futures traded strongly in the afternoon session, with the main contract I2609 closing at 763 yuan/ton, up 1.26% from the previous trading session. Spot prices rose 5-8 yuan/ton compared to the previous trading day. Traders were active in quoting prices, while steel mills were cautious in purchasing; overall spot trading was sluggish.
