4 Million-KW New Energy Project in Ordos Begins Construction, Part of UHV Grid Efforts

On April 15, the 4 million-kilowatt new energy transmission project in Ordos, Inner Mongolia started construction. The project is a supporting project of the Mengxi-Tianjin South UHV power grid project. The total investment of the project is 1.94 billion yuan. It will build one 500 kV Burtao substation and one 500 KV Da Road substation, and build 279 kilometers of 500 k V lines and 340 base towers for the power grid. The engineering line starts at the 500 kV Dali substation, connects to the 500kV Bultao substation, and ends at the 1000 kV UHV Ordos substation.
