[SMM Stainless Steel Flash] Indonesia Stainless Steel Prices Rise USD30/ton

Published: Apr 24, 2026 12:04
According to SMM research, stainless steel prices in Indonesia have been raised by USD30/ton, in line with the previously anticipated range of US$20–40/ton. The increase is underpinned by a clear cost pass-through chain, rising nickel ore prices have driven up NPI production costs, a key raw material for stainless steel, which in turn has pushed stainless steel prices higher.
