[SMM PV News] Inner Mongolia Power Group Targets 30 GW Renewable Grid Connections in 2026

Inner Mongolia Power Group has announced plans to connect 30 GW of new renewable energy capacity in 2026 and facilitate 90 billion kWh in green power trading. The group aims for a local absorption rate above 96% by 2028 and targets a total renewable integration of over 200 GW by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan. Additional plans include deploying 40 GW of energy storage in the Western Inner Mongolia grid and building dedicated transmission channels to support green computing power hubs in Horinger and Ulanqab.
