Supported by overseas demand, aluminum foil exports rose again

According to customs data, China's aluminum foil exports were 124,800 mt in March, up 27.53% MoM and 7.64% YoY.

In March, exports were still mainly to India, Thailand, Mexico, the UAE and other countries. In March, China's aluminum foil exports to the top 10 export destinations reached 77,600 mt, accounting for 62% of the total.

SMM research shows that the overseas market for aluminum foil is relatively stable, and thanks to the economic recovery in overseas markets, the demand may rise in the future. However, the international situation is unpredictable as trade frictions continued to occur and local conflicts disrupted transportation, bringing uncertainties to aluminum foil exports.
