GAC AION Hyper’s next-gen L4 autonomous vehicle to be powered by NVIDIA

NVIDIA's GTC 2024 conference was officially convened, where NVIDIA announced that the next generation of L4 autonomous vehicles by GAC AION’s Hyper brand will be powered by NVIDIA DRIVE and will enter mass production in 2025.

Shanghai’s Pudong New Area opens second batch of autonomous driving test roads

The entire Jinqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, as well as the "North-South Technology Innovation Corridor" roads such as Shenjiang Road and Hunan Highway, have been opened as autonomous driving test roads. This batch of test roads spans 205 kilometers, following the first batch of 12 routes totaling 29.3 kilometers opened in 2022.

On March 18, IM Motors, the premium electric vehicle brand co-backed by SAIC Motor, Alibaba Group, and Zhangjiang High-Tech, announced the introduction of a pioneering technology in the automotive industry, the "VMC Smart Digital Chassis." This technology, powered by intelligent algorithms, will be featured in the IM L6 model, which is set to hit the market in May. It marks the L6 as the first intelligent electric vehicle (EV) model to coordinate the vehicle's motion posture through a smart simulation "brain," enhancing safety, agility, and driving pleasure with new capabilities such as "crab walking."

[Baterai Solid-State: EcoPro BM Bentuk Tim Baterai All-Solid-State yang Mencakup Rantai Penuh "Bahan Baku-Material-Sel Baterai", Targetkan Komersialisasi pada 2027] Pada 26 Agustus 2026, EcoPro BM menggelar rapat kick-off di Provinsi Gyeonggi, secara resmi membentuk "tim baterai all-solid-state" yang mencakup rantai penuh "bahan baku-material-sel baterai". Proyek ini dipimpin oleh Kementerian Perdagangan, Industri, dan Energi Korea Selatan, dan EcoPro BM terpilih pada awal Agustus, bersama empat perusahaan lain, sebagai perusahaan "subkontraktor super" fase ketiga.
