News on October 8th, Guizhou Province's Bijie is planning to build the Guizhou Jinyuanweining 300MW/600MWh independent shared energy storage station. The construction site is located in Weining Yi, Hui and Miao Autonomous County, Wuligang Street, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, and is constructed by Guizhou Xineng Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd.

It is reported that the project is an electrochemical energy storage station, using lithium iron phosphate batteries. The project is divided into two parts, energy storage area and booster station. The planned capacity is 300MW/600MWh, with 90 sets of 3.35MW/6.709MWh energy storage units, with a total installed capacity of 301.5MW/603.81MWh. The energy storage units are arranged in prefabricated outdoor cabins. A 220kV energy storage booster station is newly built in the station, located in the northwest corner of the station. Each 7~8 sets of energy storage units are composed of one collection line, connected to the 35kV distribution device of the energy storage booster station, and then boosted to 220kV by the main transformer of the booster station.
