SHANGHAI, Aug 23 (SMM) –
In the week ending August 17, nickel sulphate prices began to stabilise. On the supply front, nickel salt firms maintained regular production for long-term orders, keeping inventory low. Demand-wise, inquiries from downstream precursor companies have slowly increased. While demand is still soft, the stable price has encouraged more purchases from these companies. Cost side will offer solid support to nickel sulphate prices. Given the current price stability and anticipated stocking, nickel sulphate prices are expected to remain stable at a lower level in the week ending August 25.
