Data from the U.S. Treasury Department showed that foreign holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds fell by $58.9 billion to $7.344 trillion in February. Among them, China's holdings of US treasury bonds decreased by $10.6 billion to $848.8 billion in February, which was the seventh consecutive month of reduction, and the scale of US treasury bonds held by China fell to the lowest level since June 2010. Japan's holdings of U.S. Treasuries fell by $22.6 billion to $1.082 trillion in February. U.K. holdings of U.S. Treasuries fell by $25.3 billion in February to $643 billion.
