In September this year, Ronghui Lithium Industry said in response to a question from the Shanghai Stock Exchange that Jiangsu Ronghui Lithium Industry parent company had a collinear production capacity of 8000 tons of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide. Jiujiang, a holding subsidiary, has a capacity of 8000 tons of lithium hydroxide, and a wholly-owned subsidiary Tibet has an annual production capacity of 5000 tons of lithium ferric phosphate and 1500 tons of high-purity lithium carbonate (intermediate products). The future production capacity of the wholly-owned subsidiary Yichang Ronghui is 60, 000 tons of annual battery-grade lithium carbonate and 68000 tons of annual battery-grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate.

It is reported that Ronghui Lithium Industry completed three rounds of inquiries and responses before withdrawing. In Science and Technology Innovation Board's third round of inquiry, the Shanghai Stock Exchange mainly focused on the company's attributes and technical level of scientific innovation, R & D costs, falling inventory prices, Lockwood and other issues.

With regard to the attributes of science and technology, Ronghui Lithium Industry said that in the first round of inquiries and application materials, according to the company's products and industries related to the field of power batteries and energy storage batteries, they belong to the key materials and technologies of power and energy storage batteries with high performance-to-price ratio. The industry field to which the company belongs is confirmed as the "power battery and related services" in the "(5) Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Field" of the interim provisions on the issuance and listing of Science and Technology Innovation Board Enterprises of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred to as the "interim provisions").

According to the Strategic emerging Industries Classification (2018) issued by the National Bureau of Statistics on November 7, 2018, lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide and lithium iron phosphate are among the key products and services in the Strategic emerging Industries Classification (2018). It belongs to "3.3.10.1 secondary battery material manufacturing" of "3.3.10.1 advanced petrochemical new materials" in the classification name of strategic emerging industries.

Ronghui Lithium Industry further explained that the core technologies owned and applied by the company include lithium carbonate mother liquor recycling technology, new freezing process for producing lithium hydroxide, continuous freezing automatic control process, and so on. these processes are used to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate and battery-grade lithium hydroxide.

Lithium carbonate is the most widely used and widely used lithium product in the lithium industry, and it is also used as a raw material for other lithium products. According to its purity, particle size and chemical index, lithium carbonate can be divided into three categories: industrial grade lithium carbonate, battery grade lithium carbonate and high purity lithium carbonate (the content of lithium carbonate in industrial grade lithium carbonate is not less than 98.5%; the content of lithium carbonate in battery grade lithium carbonate is not less than 99.5%; the content of lithium carbonate in high purity lithium carbonate is not less than 99.99%). Battery grade lithium carbonate and high purity lithium carbonate belong to deep processing lithium products, in which battery grade lithium carbonate is mainly used to prepare lithium cobalt acid (LCO), lithium nickel oxide (LNO), lithium manganate (LMO), lithium iron phosphate (LFP), ternary cathode materials (NCM333, NCM523) and so on. High purity lithium carbonate is the material for the production of lithium hexafluorophosphate electrolyte for lithium ion battery. it is also the main raw material for lithium tantalate and lithium niobate single crystals in the field of optical communication, and it is also the raw material for the synthesis of other high purity lithium salts such as high purity lif.

Lithium hydroxide is one of the important lithium products. With the development of new energy automobile industry all over the world, and with the technological progress of lithium-ion battery industry, the demand for energy density of lithium-ion battery is higher and higher. High nickel ternary materials are the main development direction. Battery-grade lithium hydroxide is an indispensable key material for the manufacture of high-nickel ternary cathode materials such as NCM622, NCM811 and NCA. With the continuous development of new energy vehicle industry, its application will gradually increase.

From the point of view of the core technology, product characteristics and downstream applications owned and applied by Ronghui lithium industry, the company belongs to the enterprise in the field of new materials.

To sum up, after in-depth demonstration and careful evaluation of Ronghui lithium industry, the industry to which the company belongs should be classified as "advanced petrochemical and chemical new materials" in "(3) new materials field" in the "interim provisions", which is more in line with the field orientation of Science and Technology Innovation Board industry to which the company belongs.
