The sodium ion battery plate rose sharply in early trading today. as of 14:00 in the afternoon, the plate rose 6.9%, and at one point it rose more than 8% in intraday trading. In terms of individual stocks, Rong Bai Technology and medium Salt Chemical rose by the daily limit, Penghui Energy, Bo Zhong Seiko, Shandong Zhanggu and Xinwanda rose more than 8%, and Ningde Times and Shengyang shares rose more than 6%. The rest of the stock is red all over the place.

Earlier, Ningde Times released news that it would release sodium ion batteries around July this year. Once the market is widely discussed, institutions generally believe that sodium ion batteries do not change the medium-and long-term high prosperity of lithium, and are expected to be promoted in energy storage and other fields. According to the Zhongtai Securities Research report, compared with lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries have lower energy density, and the future application scenarios may mainly focus on energy storage, low-speed new energy vehicles and small power fields. Lithium-ion battery is still the mainstream technology route of new energy vehicle battery.

Huajin Securities also pointed out that sodium-ion battery technology is an effective supplement to lithium-ion battery, but considering that its theoretical energy density is lower than ternary lithium battery, the short board may lead to the large-scale application of sodium-ion battery in high-end vehicles. Sodium-ion batteries are expected to partially replace lithium-ion batteries in the energy storage market and low-end power battery market. The sodium ion battery has an impact on the positive and negative electrode, electrolyte and copper collector of lithium electricity, but has little influence on the diaphragm, and the sodium battery is still in the initial stage of industrialization. after industrialization, it is expected to replace part of the low energy density power lithium battery market and energy storage market.

Recently, the sodium ion battery concept stock has continued to be active, China Salt Chemical has achieved five consecutive increases, Ningde era's share price has also reached a high since February this year, and Rongbai Technology has set a new record high, benefiting from the continued strong demand for new energy vehicles in the market. The performance of the power battery panel is excellent. At about 14:00 this afternoon, except for the sodium ion plate, the solid-state battery plate rose 3.6%, and the blade battery plate rose 3.3%. Lithium battery plate rose 2.3%.

From the data point of view, according to the data of the China Automobile Association, the month-on-month performance of new energy outperformed the industry in April, and the permeability increased steadily. From January to April 2021, the cumulative production of new energy vehicles was 750000, an increase of 266% over the same period last year, and the cumulative sales were 721000, an increase of 252% over the same period last year. Among them, the output of new energy vehicles in April was 216000, unchanged from the previous month, an increase of 170% over the same period last year, and sales of 206000 vehicles, down 8.8% from the previous month, and 186.2% from the same period last year. In April, overall automobile production and sales decreased by 9.3% and 10.8% respectively compared with the previous month.

In terms of power batteries, the stock effect of power batteries is significant, and the month-to-month ratio of installed units in April has been improved. According to data from the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, power battery production in April 12.9GWh, up 14% from the previous month, and 173% year-on-year growth in January-April cumulative production 45.6GWh, up 3.2 times over the same period last year; April power battery installed capacity 8.4GWh, down 14% from the previous month, 134% year-on-year growth in January-April cumulative installed capacity 32.4 GWH, an increase of 250% over the same period last year. Oriental Fortune Securities pointed out that under the wave of comprehensive electrification in major countries around the world, the new energy vehicle sector has a clear long-term trend and huge room for growth, and is optimistic about the leading enterprises in the middle reaches with global competitive advantages.
