[Ni Price]SHFE Nickel Ends up 1.92% (Jul. 29, 2015)

SHANGHAI, Jul. 29 (SMM) – SHFE 1509 nickel started at RMB 83,300/mt during Tuesday evening session before reaching RMB 84,090/mt, to close at RMB 83,620/mt.

On Wednesday, the most active contract opened at RMB 83,870/mt and then advanced to RMB 84,770/mt. But in the afternoon, the price dipped to RMB 83,570/mt. The contract increased again later thanks to China’s rising A-shares and ended at RMB 84,330/mt, up by 1.92%. Trading volumes posted a drop of 74,980 to 520,000 lots and positions slipped 14,838 to 163,000.
