[Zn] ThyssenKrupp and Ansteel Jointly Build Hot Galvanizing Line in China

SHANGHAI, Jul. 8 (SMM) - ThyssenKrupp will build a joint venture with Ansteel in China’s Chongqing which produces hot-galvanized products, CNMN.com reports.

The hot galvanizing line will mainly produce high-strength steel, duplex stainless steel and Al-Si coating steel plate used in automobiles, and is expected to come online in the latter half of this year.

 "We hope to capitalize on strong demand for hot-galvanized steel plate from China’s automobile sector which should continue to grow”, said Heribert Fischer, Executive Board Member at ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG.
