Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Nov. 4, IM Motors, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly backed by SAIC Motor, Alibaba Group, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech, officially unveiled its flagship six-seat SUV, the LS9, and opened pre-orders. The model is available in two range-extended versions—52 Ultra and 66 Ultra—priced between 346,900 yuan and 376,900 yuan.

The LS9 features a closed front fascia with a through-type light strip, combining futuristic design with strong visual recognition. A roof-mounted LiDAR unit highlights its advanced driver assistance capabilities. The SUV measures 5,279 mm in length and 3,160 mm in wheelbase, offering a spacious, premium cabin.

Inside, the LS9 is equipped with a 27.1-inch 5K driver display, a 21.5-inch 4K second-row entertainment screen, a 15.6-inch passenger display, and a 12L dual-door refrigerator. It debuts 4D mechanical massage seats, which the company claims deliver seven times the intensity of pneumatic systems, along with zero-gravity seating for the front and second rows.

All trims come standard with a 520-line LiDAR and NVIDIA Thor chip, pre-installed for L3 intelligent driving, enhanced by Momenta's large model for safer, more relaxed assisted driving. Underpinned by an 800V architecture and a dual-motor AWD system, the LS9 produces 390 kW and 670 N·m, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in the 4-second range. It offers up to 402 km pure-electric range and 1,508 km combined range with its dedicated range-extender battery system.
