[Kaiser Aluminum to Boost Aerospace Aluminium Output with $25 Million Facility Expansion]
Kaiser Aluminum is set to complete a $25 million expansion at its Trentwood, Washington facility by early Q4 2025, aiming to meet rising demand for aerospace and general engineering plate products from 2026 onward. The facility, currently in its Phase Seven investment stage, produces heat-treated plate and sheet for aerospace and GE markets.
Chairman and CEO Keith Harvey confirmed the project remains on schedule and within budget. The investment will enhance both production capacity and operational efficiency. Aluminium’s strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance continue to make it essential in aerospace manufacturing, and Kaiser’s strategic expansion positions the company to better support future demand with high-quality, reliable material solutions.
