Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The MAEXTRO S800—the first production model under the MAEXTRO brand jointly developed by Huawei and JAC Group—has recorded more than 2,600-unit fixed orders within 72 hours of its official market launch, according to an announcement from the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA).

Hitting the market on May 30, the model is offered in four variants, priced between 708,000 yuan and 1,018,000 yuan.

Notably, the vehicle attracted over 1,000-unit firm orders within the first hour of launch and surpassed 1,600 units within the first 24 hours. HIMA plans to begin limited "Pioneer Plan" deliveries of 599 units on June 26, with large-scale deliveries set to commence in mid-August.

The MAEXTRO S800 adopts the all-new "Stellar Horizon" design language, featuring a bold and structured front end and functional crystal headlights. The rear is equipped with a full-width "Nebula Scroll" taillight, producing a vivid galaxy-like effect when illuminated at night.

The model is available in six exterior color schemes, including both solid and dual-tone options: Star Black, Cloud Sunset, Dawn Gold & Black (dual-tone), Cloud Silver & Purple (dual-tone), Wilderness Brown & Gold (dual-tone), and Soaring Ink & White (dual-tone). It measures 5,480 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,536 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,370 mm.

Inside, the MAEXTRO S800 offers a panoramic front cabin view, a two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, HUAWEI's XHUD system, a seamless triple-screen layout, and intelligent digital rearview mirrors. The front passenger can control both the central touchscreen and a dedicated entertainment screen. With a three-finger swipe, content flows seamlessly between displays, delivering a refined smart cockpit experience. Charging convenience is further enhanced by dual 50W wireless fast-charging pads (capable of charging foldable phones while open) and dual 60W wired fast-charging ports. Interior color options include Light Brown, Pure White, White & Purple (dual-tone), White & Brown (dual-tone), and Dark Brown (dual-tone).

The MAEXTRO S800 is the first to feature Huawei's ADS 4 advanced driver assistance system. The vehicle is equipped with 36 sensors, including a 192-line LiDAR, three solid-state high-precision LiDARs, a distributed millimeter-wave radar system (three units), 12 ultrasonic sensors, two corner millimeter-wave radars, three high-resolution cameras, four surround-view cameras, and four side-view cameras. New capabilities include collision prevention in rain, fog, and dust conditions, protection against suspended and negative obstacles, and enhanced crash avoidance under extreme scenarios.

Powertrain options include both BEV (battery electric vehicle) and REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) variants. The BEV version uses a dual-motor setup, while the REEV variant is available in dual- and tri-motor configurations.

The REEV variant features a 1.5T engine with a peak output of 115 kW. The dual-motor variant achieves fuel consumption of just 0.09 L/100 km with 400 km of battery-powered range, while the tri-motor version consumes 0.25 L/100 km and offers 365 km of range on battery power alone. The tri-motor system combines a 160 kW front motor with two rear motors, each producing 273.5 kW, for a combined output of up to 635 kW. The dual-motor version delivers a maximum combined output of 390 kW.

The battery-electric S800 rides on an 800V high-voltage platform with a 97 kWh battery pack, supporting 5C ultra-fast charging and a CLTC-rated range of 702 km. It can charge from 10% to 80% of its battery capacity in as little as 12 minutes. The REEV variant features Huawei's 800V "Xue Xiao" smart range extension platform, offering a peak generation output of 80 kW and a 65 kWh battery. Its 6C fast-charging system enables 10%-80% charging in just 10.5 minutes.
