Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 1, FAW-Volkswagen released its first monthly sales result for 2025, revealing that the company retailed a total of 140,400 vehicles (including imported Audi vehicles) in January across its Volkswagen, Audi, and JETTA brands. Of them, the Audi brand achieved year-over-year growth in retail sales.

Breaking down the sales figures by specific brands, the Volkswagen brand sold 77,030 vehicles in January, while Audi and JETTA recorded retail sales of 54,270 vehicles and 9,100 vehicles, respectively.

As for the entire 2024, FAW-Volkswagen's total retail sales reached 1,659,107 vehicles (including imported Audi-branded models), with all three brands indicating a year-over-year decline. To reverse the trends, the company plans to launch 19 new models over the next 20 months.

The JETTA brand first expanded its product lineup in 2025, with the JETTA VA7 model hitting the market on January 12. JETTA plans to put the JETTA VS8 onto the market in the second half of this year. Besides, the brand aims to introduce five new energy vehicle (NEV) models to enrich its product portfolio.

The Volkswagen brand plans to introduce several new models onto the market in the same year, including the all-new TAYRON L and the new Sagitar models.

Audi is set to debut such models as the all-new Audi Q5L, the all-new Q6L e-tron, the all-new Q6L Sportback e-tron, and the all-new A6L e-tron models.

On November 28, 2024, FAW-Volkswagen celebrated a historic milestone with its 20 millionth vehicle under the Volkswagen brand, an all-new TAYRON L, rolling off the production line at its Tianjin factory.
