Panjiang Coal plans to invest RMB 2.6 billion in a 672.4MW wind and solar project, equipped with energy storage system based on 10%/2h configuration. SMM learned that on July 11, Panjiang Coal issued an announcement stating that it intends to invest a total of approximately RMB 2.598 billion through its holding subsidiaries to build a 672.4MW wind and solar project in Guizhou Province. According to Guizhou's energy storage policy, the project will be equipped with energy storage devices configured for 10%/2h charging and discharging based on the total installed capacity, with an estimated energy storage demand of 67.24MW/134.48MWh.
It is understood that this batch of projects includes 522.4MW photovoltaic and 150MW wind power, and both projects have obtained project registration certificates from the Guizhou Provincial Energy Bureau.
