[Largest Photovoltaic Project Invested and Constructed by Chinese Enterprises in Central Asia Fully Connected to the Grid]
According to the official WeChat account of China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC), on June 28th local time, the largest photovoltaic project invested and constructed by Chinese enterprises in Central Asia, the 1-gigawatt photovoltaic project in Uzbekistan, achieved full capacity connection to the grid. The 1-gigawatt photovoltaic project in Uzbekistan was invested by CEEC's International Engineering Investment Company and includes a 500-megawatt project in Bukhara Province and a 500-megawatt project in Kashkadarya Province. Among them, the Kashkadarya Province project was contracted and constructed by the joint venture of China Energy Engineering Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. and China Northeast Electric Power Design Institute, while the Bukhara Province project was contracted and constructed by China Energy Engineering Construction Group and involved the participation of Xinjiang Electric Power Design Institute in the design.
