China's crude steel production in May was 92.9 million tons, up 2.7% year on year; India's crude steel production in May was 12.2 million tons, up 3.5% year on year; Japan's crude steel production in May was 7.2 million tons, down 6.3% year on year; the United States' crude steel production in May was 6.9 million tons, down 1.5% year on year; Russia's crude steel production in May was expected to be 6.3 million tons, down 0.9% year on year; South Korea's crude steel production in May was 5.2 million tons, down 10.9% year on year; Turkey's crude steel production in May was 3.2 million tons, up 11.6% year on year. Germany's crude steel production in May was expected to be 3.2 million tons, down 1.9% year on year.
