Shanghai Tin Inventory Continues to Accumulate, Reaching a New High
LME data shows that on December 18th, London tin inventory reached a new high of over eight years before entering a downward channel. On March 11th, the inventory fell to a new low of over seven months at 5300 tons, but then slightly rebounded. The latest inventory level is 5315 tons. According to data released by the Shanghai Futures Exchange, in the week of March 8th, Shanghai tin inventory continued to accumulate, increasing for the seventh consecutive week, with a weekly increase of 4.35% to 11,072 tons, reaching the highest level since listing.
