SMM Steel Shipping: China's Export Volume Increased by 20% Last Week

Last week (February 24, 2024, to March 1, 2024), the total shipping volume of steel at SMM national ports was 5.4146 million tons, an increase of 1.4189 million tons or 36% compared to the previous week. Of this, the total shipping volume at the six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian, Bayuquan, Tianjin Xingang, Huanghua Port, Jinzhou Port) was 2.6915 million tons, an increase of 0.8515 million tons, accounting for 50% of the total shipping volume.
