Yongtai Technology's 67,000-ton lithium bis(oxalato)borate project is progressing: trial production has begun.
Yongtai Technology (002326) announced that its holding subsidiary, Shaowu Yongtai High-tech Materials Co., Ltd., has completed the equipment installation and commissioning for the annual production of 134,000 tons of liquid lithium salt industrial project. The project includes the annual production of 67,000 tons of lithium bis(oxalato)borate solution, and the trial production plan has been approved by experts and has already begun trial production. Yongtai Technology stated that the commissioning of this project will further optimize the company's industrial layout, enhance the company's production capacity and scale advantages for lithium bis(oxalato)borate. This move also provides raw material security for its subsidiary Zhejiang Yongtai New Energy Materials Co., Ltd.'s annual production of 150,000 tons of electrolyte project. The collaborative development of each subsidiary will further deepen the company's cost advantages, consolidate the company's industry position and market share, and help the company further improve its comprehensive market competitiveness and profitability.
