On December 23, China Energy Construction Consulting Company, Jiangsu Institute, and Tianjin Electric Construction participated in the largest national wind-solar energy storage integration demonstration project—Ulanqab New Generation Friendly Green Power Station Demonstration Project in Inner Mongolia, which is a joint general contracting project. The second and third phases of the project have successfully connected to the grid for power generation, laying a solid foundation for the full operation of the subsequent projects.
The Ulanqab New Generation Friendly Green Power Station Demonstration Project is located in Siziwang Banner, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (adjacent to the landing site of the Chinese spacecraft), with a total installed capacity of 2 million kilowatts (built in three phases), including 1.7 million kilowatts of wind power, 300,000 kilowatts of AC side capacity of photovoltaic power generation, and supporting storage capacity of 550,000 kilowatts (2 hours). Additionally, there will be the construction of 4 integrated station booster energy storage systems and 1 smart unified control center.
