On October 27 local time, the No.1 gas turbine unit of the 1500MW gas combined cycle power plant project contracted by China Energy Construction Corporation in Uzbekistan's Syr River was successfully connected to the local power grid for the first time.
This is another major node after the first ignition of the gas turbine and the reverse power supply of the steam turbine No.2 unit this month, marking an important milestone in the construction of the largest power plant project in Central Asia.
The H-class gas turbine adopted by the 1500MW gas combined cycle power plant project in Uzbekistan's Syr River has the highest combustion temperature, the largest single power and the highest efficiency in the world. After completion, it can provide more than 36 million degrees of electricity to the local power grid every day. The installed capacity of the project accounts for 8% of the total installed capacity of Uzbekistan's electricity, which can meet the electricity demand of millions of people, and is an important project to adjust the energy structure of Uzbekistan and improve the power generation capacity, which has milestone significance for the development of Uzbekistan's energy field.
