Fu Linghui, spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics, said that the narrowing trend of PPI decline is estimated to continue in the next stage, mainly due to the expected strengthening of domestic market demand. In August, the new orders index in the manufacturing PMI returned to the prosperous range, and the optimization and adjustment of the industrial structure was conducive to price improvement. New energy vehicle manufacturing prices rose 0.8% MoM, coupled with the year-on-year decline in the base number, PPI is expected to rebound, which will play a positive role in improving enterprise production and operation, and boosting development confidence. Recently, the overall profits of industrial enterprises have improved, which is also closely related to the recovery of PPI.
