According to the National Development and Reform Commission website, to accelerate the development and construction of domestic mining projects and improve the ability to guarantee the supply of mineral resources, the Industry Department of the Commission recently held a symposium on the development and construction of mining projects to gain an in-depth understanding of the basic situation, development and construction progress, and the difficulties faced by domestic iron ore, non-ferrous metal ore, and other key mining projects. After carefully listening to the opinions and suggestions on relevant policy measures, the Department conducted profound discussions on the next step. Representatives from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the Metallurgical Mines’ Association of China, and relevant units of mine development and design all participated in the symposium.
