According to SMM survey, the average operating rate of zinc oxide enterprises was 60.8% last week, down 0.5 percentage point from the previous week.
In terms of raw materials, some enterprises restocked at lows. As low operating rates at galvanising plants tightened zinc slag supply, zinc oxide plants purchased as required, leaving raw material inventories largely unchanged.
Despite the lack of growth in recent tyre orders, operating rates of semi-steel tires remained high, supporting the demand for zinc oxide. Operating rates of zinc oxide companies will remain at the current level this week.
