SMM Daily Comments (May 10): Most SHFE, LME Base Metals Prices Went down, Brent Oil Snaps 4-Day Winning Streak

Crude oil fell slightly today. WTI oil snapped its three-day winning streak, and Brent oil stopped its four-day winning streak. As of 15:10 CST, WTI oil and Brent oil fell 0.71% and 0.68% respectively.

Crude oil fell slightly today. WTI oil snapped its three-day winning streak, and Brent oil stopped its four-day winning streak. As of 15:10 CST, WTI oil and Brent oil fell 0.71% and 0.68% respectively.

The U.S. dollar index fell 0.07% as of 15:10. As of the closing of the intraday trading, SHFE lead rose 0.16%, SHFE nickel fell 2.23%, SHFE tin dropped 1.8%, SHFE zinc dipped 0.28%, SHFE copper fell 0.24%, and SHFE aluminum declined 0.08%.

For ferrous metals, stainless steel prices rose 0.77%, iron ore rose 0.28%. Coking coal fell more than 2%.

LME base metals closed mostly lower.

Most LME base metals prices dropped. As of 15:13, only LME nickel prices rose 0.4%. LME tin fell 0.72%, LME zinc fell 0.69%, LME lead fell 0.56%, LME aAluminium fell 0.47%, and LME copper dropped 0.23%.

In terms of precious metals, SHFE gold rose 0.46%; SHFE silver rose 0.3%. As of 15:15, COMEX gold fell 0.23%; COMEX silver fell 0.2%.
