According to data released by the International Copper Study Group (ICSG) last Friday, copper production at global mines is expected to increase by about 3% this year and by about 2.5% next year.
According to the report, it is expected that there will be a supply gap of 114,000 mt in the global copper market this year, and an expected surplus of 298,000 mt in the global copper market will occur next year.
