SHANGHAI, Mar 31 (SMM) - On the demand side, due to the withdrawal of preferential tax policy on fuel vehicles and new energy subsidies, the demand for domestic automobiles was weak, resulting in a significant decline in the production and sales in January to February. The weak consumption extended in March, and thus the orders received by secondary aluminium enterprises only increased at the beginning of the month. Even with the automobile price cuts in March, orders from downstream die-casting factories declined and the ADC12 prices failed to gain support from the demand side. The market players expect a decline in demand in the first half of the year and hope for a substantial increase in orders in the second half of the year.
