On January 4, the start ceremony of Sichuan Province's major projects in the first quarter of 2022 and the second phase of Sichuan lithium power and energy storage battery cathode material lithium iron phosphate project was held in Pengxi. Li Jiang, secretary of the Suining Municipal CPC Committee, Zhou Linlin, chairman of the standing Committee of the Municipal people's Congress, Yang Jun, chairman of the Municipal people's political Consultative Conference, Jing Lin, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee, Zhang Zhiyong, vice mayor of Suining, and other leaders attended the ceremony. President Shi said that the first and second phases of Sichuan Lithium Source project represent the most advanced level at home and abroad in terms of production line layout and equipment selection, and are full of confidence in the future development of Lithium Source.

At the opening ceremony, Secretary Li Jiang officially announced that major projects in Suining will start in the first quarter of 2022. Warm applause broke out at the scene, and all kinds of engineering vehicles and mechanical equipment honked in unison, marking the official start of the construction of the second phase of the lithium source high-performance lithium new materials project. At the opening ceremony, Secretary Jing Lin pointed out that the construction of these projects will certainly become a strong "engine" for promoting the high-quality development of the whole city, and lay a solid foundation for building "three cities" and invigorating the "three capitals" and accelerating the rise of the "Star of Chengdu and Chongqing."
