Aluminum News - Bauxite Import Data for April

According to the General Administration of Customs, domestic bauxite imports stood at 19.743 million tons in April 2026, down 9.4% month-on-month and 4.6% year-on-year.

From January to April 2026, the total domestic bauxite imports reached 77.728 million tons, rising 14.7% year-on-year.

In April 2026, domestic imports of Guinean bauxite amounted to 16.423 million tons, dropping 9.4% month-on-month and 1.9% year-on-year. The cumulative import volume of Guinean bauxite in the first four months of 2026 hit 62.964 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 18.5%.
