VOYAH’s FREE+ receives over 10,000-unit pre-orders within 18 hours

Recently, Dongfeng Motor’s premium NEV (new energy vehicle) brand VOYAH announced that its new SUV FREE+ had surpassed 10,000-unit pre-orders within just 18 hours of opening.

Beijing (Gasgoo) –Recently, Dongfeng Motor's premium NEV (new energy vehicle) brand VOYAH announced that its new SUV FREE+ had surpassed 10,000-unit pre-orders within just 18 hours of opening. The pre-sale began on June 24, with price starting at 229,900 yuan.

The FREE+ shows a comprehensive upgrade of the original VOYAH FREE, featuring enhancements across multiple dimensions including smart cockpit functionality, driver assistance, comfort and convenience, chassis tuning, and safety equipment.

Positioned as a full-size SUV , the VOYAH FREE+ measures 4,915 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,660 mm in height, with a 2,960 mm wheelbase.

Externally, it sports a closed-off front grille design, flanked by headlamps connected via a black decorative panel. A standout feature is its "City Starlight" illuminated grille, which incorporates 200 LED units capable of displaying nine dynamic lighting effects. Additional exterior features include flush door handles and a subtly redesigned rear bumper while retaining the original taillight configuration.

Inside, the FREE+ offers a multi-sensory immersive experience, anchored by a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and a T-shaped dashboard layout. Beneath the screen are air vents and dual wireless charging pads. The rear cabin features a 7L dual-opening refrigerated and heated storage box, capable of maintaining precise temperatures between -6°C and 50°C. It can cool from room temperature to 0°C in just 10 minutes and boasts a 99.99% sterilization rate.

The FREE+ comes standard with Huawei's latest ADS 4.0 advanced driver assistance system across its entire lineup and the HarmonySpace 5 intelligent cockpit. It also features an aluminum chassis paired with CDC electromagnetic damping system and air suspension, offering up to 100 mm of height adjustability for both dynamic performance and ride comfort.

Powering the vehicle is a REEV-dedicated system built on a 1.5T engine. Available in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive configurations, the model includes a 45 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. It delivers up to 235 km of CLTC-rated battery-powered range and a combined driving range exceeding 1,200 km.
