Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 27, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, officially launched the pre-sale of the AVATR 06, offering five variants with a starting price of 215,900 yuan.

Built on the AVATR 2.0 platform, the model integrates Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving system with LiDAR and is available in both battery-electric vehicle (BEV) and range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) versions. The mid-size sedan is set to hit the market in April.

The AVATR 06 is designed under the AVATR 2.0 philosophy, including split headlights with dual-bar DRLs and an interactive Halo screen on the windshield supporting eight scenario-based interactions. The BEV and REEV versions are distinguished only by an active grille. The model comes in six body colors, including an exclusive Cloud Purple, developed with German nanocoating technology. Its coupe-style fastback design, combined with digital side mirrors, flush door handles, and smart electric doors, contributes to an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.23Cd. The rear end features a seamless, windowless design with a floating high-mounted brake light for enhanced recognition.

Inside, the cabin offers Nappa leather, ultra-fiber suede, and birch wood trims, with three new color schemes. The segment-exclusive zero-gravity seats provide 18-way electric adjustment, three-level heating/ventilation, and an eight-point massage system. A 7.1.4-channel Meridian sound system (2,016W peak power) and Huawei's sound field technology deliver a theater-grade audio experience.

Equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 smart driving system, the AVATR 06 features a 192-line LiDAR and 26 high-precision sensors, enabling full-scenario "door-to-door" navigation and valet parking. The HarmonyOS cockpit ensures seamless multi-device connectivity, while a nano-water ion air conditioning system generates 4.8 trillion radicals per second for air purification and skincare benefits.

The BEV version runs on an 800V high-voltage platform, with single- and dual-motor options delivering 252kW and 440kW, respectively, achieving a CLTC range of 650km and 600km. The REEV model pairs a 1.5T generator with a 231kW motor, offering a 240km battery-powered range and exceeding 1,200km in combined range.
