SMM, November 19 - Lü Wenbin, Director of the Energy Research Institute of the NDRC, stated that developing new quality productivity is a distinctive feature of China's energy transition. New low-carbon, zero-carbon, and negative-carbon technologies, equipment, and industries related to energy production and consumption have vast market potential and present significant investment opportunities. For example, the capital demand for wind and PV equipment in China is expected to grow from approximately 2 trillion yuan per year in 2023 to around 6 trillion yuan per year by 2060.
