SMM Analysis: Lithium Battery Industry Chain Demand Rises in October, Battery Materials Show Strong Q4 Momentum

**【SMM Analysis: Lithium Battery Industry Chain Demand Continues to Increase in October, Battery Material Momentum Strong in Q4】SMM November 11 News**: In October, domestic lithium carbonate production increased by 4% month-on-month and 48% year-on-year. Lithium hydroxide production saw a slight month-on-month decrease of about 1%, but increased by approximately 40% year-on-year. Cobalt sulfate production declined by 1% month-on-month and 28% year-on-year. Cobalt tetraoxide production increased slightly both month-on-month and year-on-year. Ternary precursor production rose by 1% month-on-month and 2% year-on-year. Ternary material production increased by 2.6% month-on-month and 4.8% year-on-year. Lithium iron phosphate production increased by 6% month-on-month and 81% year-on-year. Lithium iron phosphate battery material production increased by 4% month-on-month and more than 100% year-on-year. Lithium cobalt oxide production declined, dropping by 15% compared to September.
