[Exports in South Korea May Slow Down in October]"

SMM reported on November 1 that the median forecast of 13 economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal indicated that South Korean exports were expected to grow by 6.9% year-on-year in August and 7.5% in September. Following a 2.2% increase in imports in September, imports were projected to rise by 0.3% compared to the same period last year, potentially resulting in a trade surplus of $5 billion. Exports could continue to grow due to an increase in working days and stable demand for semiconductors. However, Park Sang-hyun, the chief economist at iM Securities, stated that exports to the United States might slow down.
