[SMM Analysis] During the week, the center of gravity of copper prices gradually shifted upwards from 72,000 yuan/ton to 74,000 yuan/ton. As the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday approached, downstream buyers' enthusiasm for stockpiling became evident. Despite the continuous upward shift in the center of gravity of copper prices during the week, the quantity of downstream stockpiling and the number of start-ups still increased. However, the spot premium did not rise along with the downstream buyers' enthusiasm for stockpiling, and the spot trading volume increased with stable prices during the week.
