The US has released the four-year review results of the additional tariffs imposed on China under Section 301, announcing that it will further increase tariffs on imported products from China, including electric vehicles, lithium batteries, photovoltaic cells, key minerals, semiconductors, as well as steel and aluminum, port cranes, and personal protective equipment, on the basis of the original tariffs. In response, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products stated on the 15th that the current share of China's exports of electric vehicles and photovoltaic cells to the US is extremely small. Taking 2023 as an example, the share of China's electric vehicle exports to the US in the total exports of such products is less than 1%, and the share of China's photovoltaic cell exports to the US is only 0.2%.
