The Mingshan Energy Storage Power Station, with a capacity of 100MW/200MWh in Yiyang City, Hunan Province, has accumulated a total of 35.03 million kilowatt-hours of new energy consumption since it was connected to the grid in April this year. The project is operated by CNNC Hui Energy (Hunan) New Energy Co., Ltd., and is the first energy storage peak-shifting project put into use in Yiyang City.
Since the operation of the project, the Mingshan Energy Storage Power Station has maintained efficient and stable operation, fully absorbing new energy to assist the power grid in peak-shifting and valley-filling, equivalent to reducing coal consumption by 43,051.87 tons and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 26,622.8 tons.
