SMM estimates that copper semis imports in November will be 30,200 mt, an increase of 2.08% monthon-month but a year-on-year decrease of 12.69%; total imports from January to November are estimated at 326,100 mt, a year-on-year decrease of 19.98%.
SMM estimates that copper semis exports in November will be 56,000 mt, an increase of 5.5% month-onmonth and 5.75% year-on-year; total exports from January to November are estimated at 619,400 mt, a year-on-year decrease of 2.43%.
In December, the domestic economic recovery was slow, but the import window was still open. Import volume is expected to still increase in December, but the increase is not expected to be noticeable; export volume is also expected to increase slightly as overseas inflation rates are declining and the economy is recovering.
