The regular spring meeting of the Committee on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures of the World Trade Organization was held in Geneva on May 2.

Chinese representatives criticised the US's discriminatory subsidy policies and measures at the meeting and called on the WTO to strengthen supervision of US practices that violate WTO rules.

The Chinese representative pointed out in his speech that the Inflation Reduction Act promulgated by the United States used the name of "green" to implement protectionism in reality. In the specific implementation rules, the United States arbitrarily interprets the "free trade agreement" and seriously undermines global trade rules.
