PMI in Chinese Aluminium Wire and Cable Sector Returned to Expansion Territory in February, But Underperformed Other Processing Segments  

SHANGHAI, Mar 1 (SMM) – The PMI in the aluminium wire and cable sector was 58.7 in February, up 21.5 points MoM. Most producers returned to normal production. However, new orders were limited. Producers mainly delivered their backlog orders.

In March, orders from power grid will recover, and PV construction projects will gather pace, boosting the aluminium wire and cable sector.
