SMM: on the evening of February 28th, Fulin Seiko announced that it agreed to sign a cooperation framework agreement between its subsidiary Jiangxi sublimation and the management committee of Yichun Economic and technological Development Zone. The cooperation framework stipulates that Jiangxi sublimation will invest 200000 tons of new high-pressure solid lithium iron phosphate cathode materials and supporting main materials integration project, R & D center and science and technology platform in Yichun Economic Development Zone, and promote the comprehensive development and utilization of lithium resources. including not limited to lithium ore development projects, lithium salt capacity construction projects, lithium battery recycling projects, etc. Yichun Economic Development Zone gives sufficient protection and support to Jiangxi sublimation based on the supply of lithium resources, the corresponding core material of the project.

Specifically, in terms of lithium cathode materials, the cooperation between the two sides includes an annual output of 200000 tons of new high-voltage solid lithium iron phosphate cathode materials and supporting main materials integration project, research and development center and science and technology platform. It is estimated that the total investment of the project is about 5 billion, which is divided into two phases, including an investment of 2.5 billion in the first phase with an annual output of 100000 tons of new high-pressure solid lithium iron phosphate cathode materials and supporting main materials, and an investment of 2.5 billion in the second phase. the construction of 100000 tons of new high-pressure solid lithium iron phosphate cathode materials and supporting main materials project.

In the comprehensive development and utilization of lithium resources, the scope of cooperation between the two sides includes, but is not limited to, lithium mine development projects, lithium salt capacity construction projects, lithium battery recycling projects, and so on.

It is reported that Yichun City, where the management committee of Yichun Economic Development District is located, is rich in lithium-containing porcelain clay resources. at present, Yichun City has made the city's efforts to expand and strengthen the new energy industry in the first place. In recent years, a complete closed-loop industrial chain of new energy has been formed in lithium resource exploitation, mineral processing, smelting, key materials and spare parts of lithium battery, lithium-ion battery, green and efficient energy storage battery, new energy vehicle, lithium battery recycling and so on.
