SHANGHAI, Sept. 28 (SMM) – Chile is making regulations for the construction of new lithium mines as demand for lithium ore from electric vehicle batteries surges.

Copper Consumption to Grow as New Energy Vehicle Booms

Chile will provide guidance for private companies which hope to do lithium business in Chile before the year-end, Chile’s mining minister Aurora Williams said in an interview.
