SHANGHAI, May 19 (SMM) –SHFE 1709 tin jumped to RMB 144,940/mt during Thursday’s night session, and ended at RMB 144,300/mt.
On Friday, SHFE 1709 tin opened at RMB 144,390/mt, moving around opening price most of the time. The most active contract ended the day up RMB 460/mt or 0.32% at RMB 144,050/mt. Trading volumes were down 1,948 lots to 17,542 lots, and positions were up 728 lots to 16,878 lots. SHFE 1709 tin may shoot up initially and then fall back, testing resistance at RMB 145,800/mt.
